Character

Number of bristles on axilla [56]

Description

In Jambiya (Perilampidae), the axillar setae are all bristle-like but because they are not differentiated from one another they were coded as state 0. There is some taxonomic discrepancy in how this character is coded relative to the definition of bristle that was given because Aphelinidae were scored as having bristles even when there were no "normal" (weak, hairlike) setae for comparison.
