Metafemur size [115]

Description

An enlarged metafemur has been historically considered to be a feature of Chalcididae and Leucospidae, but has also been found in some Pteromalidae, Torymidae, and Eulophidae. Does not always co-occur with any other characters of the hind leg, but some derived states in other characters may depend on its presence. Citation: Gates (2008: 27).
