Character

Lamina on metatarsal claws [202]

Description

The metatarsal claw of some Ormyridae and Torymidae is bifid with a subapical tooth that is broad and flat. Tarsal claws of the other legs are similar in shape, but with a slightly less-defined lamina, possibly because of size-related variation. State 0 includes structures where one or more subapical teeth are present but not broadly truncate.
