Description

State 1 is characteristic of Torymidae, whereas (Grissell, 1995). In Estate 2 is a specialized structure found in some Encyrtidae in which the cerci arise from membrane with a crescent-shaped sclerite laterally that we interpret as an isolated part of Mt8+Mt9. Cerci are absent from some species of Philomides (Philomidinae). Citation: Grissell (1995: 23).
