Mesepimeron relative to metapleural/propodeal complex [140]

Description

The mesepimeron may be expanded posteriorly, overlapping the anterior edge of the metapleuron. This has been found in a variety of taxa, including Spalangiinae and some Eulophidae and Ceinae (Darling, 1991; Gibson, 2009b). Citation: Burks et al. (2011: 22).
