Description

This is a raised carina or sharp edge along the separation between the gena and the postgena, especially along the ventral part towards the mouth corner. State 2 is known from Eunotinae (Pteromalidae) and Encyrtidae. Citations: LaSalle et al. (1997); Wijesekara (1997: 9); Gibson (2003: 10); Lotfalizadeh et al. (2007: 12).
